K100 welcomed Kenny Rogers to the Wood County Fair, backstage here is Kenny with Gary, who took second place in the Kenny lookalike contest and Harvey who is trying out a new set of dentures, and apparently they were the wrong size!

11 year old Kalub Motter lost his father in a motorcycle accident.  His family and friends organized a bowling benefit to help with Kalub's high school and college plans. 

Life Connection of Ohio unveiled the Donate Life Education Vehicle at Westfield Franklin Park.  It is an opportunity to learn the history of transplantation, dispel common myths through an interactive question-and-answer game, visualize what can be donated on a computerized interactive human body, and listen to stories of real people throughout Ohio – including northwest Ohio – whose lives have been touched by organ and tissue donation. K100’s Harvey J. Steele was there to broadcast live!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Genoa High School for the big tornado relief fundraiser featuring the 13abc All Stars against team of faculty from Lake, Genoa and Delta schools.  Over $40,000 was raised to benefit the work of ISOH/IMPACT !  K100’s Harvey J. Steele and Cliff Smithers were announcers for the game, thanks to Genoa Bank who donated $50 per three pointer, 13abc who donated $25 per basket and to the Andersons who MATCHED EVERYTHING!  We live in a great part of the country, thanks again from our news partner 13abc and K100!

K100 welcomed the Brad Paisley H20 World Tour to Huntington Center!  The music and festivities were both inside and outside, here is our first section of K100 Fan Fotos!

The day began outside Huntington Center with Waterworld, Steel Magnolia, Josh Thompson and Easton Corbin sang on the Huntington stage, K100 was broadcasting live and everyone had a great time in the warm weather!

Inside Huntington Center fans were getting ready for a great show!

K100’s Harvey J. Steele and Amy Davis stopped by the Elliston United Church of Christ for their American Idol party in Crystal Bowersox’s hometown!  Congrats to Crystal and all the hometown folks who have raised thousands of dollars to benefit Diabetes Youth Services!

Northwest Ohio’s own Crystal Bowersox stopped by the K100 studios during her whirlwind return to the area!  Thanks Crystal for saying on the air that K100 is the station you grew up with, another reason you’re OUR idol at K100!

Lots of folks came by to sign our K100 table inside Huntington Center to sign up for $650 worth of jewelry from J. Foster’s.  Everyone was getting psyched up for the big concert to come!

K100 was the radio sponsor of “Kilometers for Kidneys” to benefit Kidney Foundation of NW Ohio, the first event at the newly renamed Huntington Center!  Here are some scenes from the event!

K100’s Amy Davis and Harvey J. Steele were at Pet Supplies Plus Airport Highway location ton wrap up our K100 Pet Food Drive to benefit the Humane Ohio Pet Food Bank!  You can always donate food directly to Humane Ohio at 3131 Tremainsville Road!

K100’s Amy Davis and Cliff Smithers were “Celebrity Waiters” at the annual Kidney Foundation of NW Ohio Wait Night held at the Navy Bistro!

The gang at the Maumee Fire Department raised $2000 for the Cancer Society and Fire Chief Monto had his moustache shaved as a result.  Another $1000 was raised and Maumee Mayor Wagener had his facial hair shaved, K100’s Harvey J. Steele took the first “swipe” at the Mayor’s face!  All the money went to the Southern Lucas County Relay for Life at Maumee High School!
